The °Climate Group is an international NGO with offices in the UK, US and Australia that works to promote leadership in response to global climate change. Our core membership coalition includes some of the world’s most influential corporations and governments on the issue of climate change. We also work with leadership groups in specific sectors; produce ground-breaking research; and raise awareness through high-profile events and superb media relations. We demonstrate that tackling climate change can yield economic benefits, and we offer strategies for identifying and capitalising on those benefits.

FINANCE LEADERSHIP MANAGER

The °Climate Group is looking for a dynamic and motivated professional to develop and lead an ambitious programme that supports the finance sector in shaping a low carbon economy.  The successful candidate will be required to engage with leading financial institutions, understand and support the take-up of best practices in the sector, facilitate cutting edge research, work across multiple industry sectors and bring together decision makers that can accelerate investment in a low carbon future.

CORPORATE ENGAGEMENT MANAGERS
Based in Delhi/Mumbai

The °Climate Group is looking for experienced project managers to lead engagement with a range of global corporate partners.  In addition, the role will involve implementing strategically important initiatives that will support best practice across multiple industry sectors. As Corporate Engagement Manager, you will be the main point of interface between The °Climate Group and our corporate members.  You will be expected to carry out the following tasks: Robust engagement with existing and new corporate members to assist and accelerate their climate change leadership; lead and oversee business leadership initiatives and working groups that will deliver solutions on climate change; develop our outreach to a wider group of leading businesses.  Please see the attached job description for complete specifications.

PROGRAMME MANAGER: COMMUNICATIONS AND MEDIA
Based in: Delhi

The ­°Climate Group is looking for a dynamic, experienced, highly motivated professional to implement a communications strategy and manage existing strategic business and government relationships in India. As well as first class written and verbal communications skills, you will have demonstrated sustained PR achievements either with an agency or in-house within a medium-large organisation.  You will be comfortable working with government and business leaders and will have a clear understanding of both clean air/climate policy frameworks, programmes to address the challenge of climate change; in particular the opportunities presented by CDM and voluntary action and be comfortable with both strategy and detail. You will be expected to carry out the following tasks: Update and manage national and international press and broadcast media databases; develop and plan and execute hard news stories relevant to The °Climate Group work programme; help further develop core messages and identify opportunities to push them to key target audiences. PROGRAMME MANAGER: CITIES

The Climate Group is seeking a highly motivated Programme Manager to play a key role in engaging major world cities on climate change.  Reporting to the India Director, the role presents a challenging opportunity for a dynamic individual to work in a successful NGO. An understanding of climate change and the contribution that energy and transport policies can make to mitigate its effects is a requirement. Key tasks for the Programme Manager will include: Helping develop relationships with city officials in cities nationally and internationally; facilitating collaboration between cities and between cities and corporate partners; coordinating research into best practice on climate change for world cities and publication and dissemination of key research to members and other stakeholders. REGIONAL DIRECTOR: MIDWEST
Based in Chicago, Illinois, USA

The °Climate Group is seeking a highly motivated experienced leader to work with, manage and further its key business and partner relations in the Midwest of North America.  The Regional Director will manage the region’s office in Chicago and conduct direct outreach to, and interact with corporate and government leaders in the areas of emissions reductions target setting, energy efficiency, carbon markets, and offsets as well as technically assist our partners in articulating and implementing climate strategy.
