Our Work Programmes: Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change
The IIGCC is a forum for collaboration between asset owners and asset managers aimed at encouraging the investment chain to address the risks and opportunities associated with climate change in investment decision-making. It includes some of the largest asset managers and pension funds in the UK and continental Europe.
The group’s overall objectives are to:
> Provide members with the knowledge and tools to assess the investment implications of climate change
> Encourage investors to integrate climate change risks and opportunities into investment analysis
> Advocate public policy and market solutions that ensure an orderly and efficient transition to a secure climate system which is consistent with long-term investment objectives.
