Jane Gray
Director, International State and Regional Government Programme
Jane is a founding Advisory Board Member of The °Climate Group and has 14 years experience working within the Manitoba legislature and with the Manitoba Government on climate change, water protection and infrastructure, parks and forestry as well as social policy, programs and projects.
Her roles have included seven years as a senior analyst within the Cabinet Policy Secretariat and, most recently, two years as the Executive Director of the newly formed Climate and Green Initiatives Branch. Her work has included key involvement in Manitoba’s first Water Protection Act, Manitoba’s first Climate Change Strategy and Green & Growing Strategy and a range community-based climate projects.
Jane has been the board member for Manitoba on the International Institute for Sustainable Development and on the newly formed multi-state Climate Registry, and has also served as Manitoba’s representative on the Western Climate Initiative.
Jane has an Honours Degree in Geography from the University of Winnipeg.
