Damandeep Singh

Communications Consultant

Damandeep has nearly 18 years experience as an environment journalist and consultant. Prior to joining The Climate Group, he worked as a Senior Associate Consultant with ERM India heading their Energy and Climate Change Practice.

Damandeep has worked as a consultant with LEAD India, the Bureau of Energy Efficiency and Suzlon Energy Ltd.

He has also extensive experience in the communication field, where he spent much of his time focusing on environment and development issues. A former head of both research and programme divisions of the National Geographic Channel India, Damandeep has also worked as a full-time journalist with several national newspapers, including The Times of India, The Pioneer, Business Standard and The Indian Express.
