Alison Lucas

Communications Director

Alison has fifteen years experience of working in communications and PR in both the commercial and charitable sectors. Prior to her role with The Climate Group Alison ran an environmental communications consultancy where she led projects for clients including WWF UK, WWF International, UNEP, B&Q plc and The Goldman Environmental Awards. Prior to this she was Director of Communications for WWF’s international Forests for Life Campaign where she led an international team campaigning on forest issues. Alison has coordinated high level international events with individuals including HRH Prince Charles, World Bank President James Wolfensohn and UK Prime Minister Tony Blair. She won a National PR Week award for delivering the Best Broadcast Campaign, achieving global media coverage, for her work on forest protection.
