Corporate Leadership Programme

The Climate Group works directly with members to make sure that they are involved in the activities surrounding our major initiatives. Our Corporate Engagement team also runs a range of projects and research specifically aimed at supporting our global membership.  These include:

Leadership Programme:  webinars, leadership group meetings and an online network run in partnership with 2Degrees. These have been developed to help our members be ambitious, innovative and successful when it comes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions

Green Power Market Development Group – Europe: a unique partnership with World Resources Institute focussed on building corporate demand for green power

Pearl River Delta Basin Research - Run with Energy Research Institute of National Development and Reform Commission and Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion of Chinese Academy of Sciences . This project looks at technology and policy options to address greenhouse gas emissions and air quality.

Low Carbon Property Initiative in China: A partnership with Axa SEE Ecological Association and China Urban Realty Association (CURA) that is focused on encouraging energy efficiency and better carbon management in China’s rapidly expanding property sector.

China Climate Change Training Initiative (CCCTI): A partnership with Business for Social Responsibility to develop and deliver training for manufacturing organisations in China. The goal is to provide knowledge and practical skills for managing and reporting on climate change impacts.

Climate Conscious Consumer Research:  An annual survey looking at the state of the consumer market on climate change. The research is sponsored by Sky and run by Lippincott.  The aim is to guide member companies on how to communicate effectively with their customers on the climate issue.
